Acquisition of Picoma

JMC is pleased to announce it has consummated the purchase of Picoma, the electrical fittings business formerly owned by Anvil International, L.P., a wholly owned subsidiary of Mueller Water Products, Inc. (NYSE:MWA).

Picoma is a leading manufacturer and seller of electrical fittings. JMC also manufacturers and sells electrical fittings in its Wheatland division under the Wheatland brand name. The acquisition of the Picoma brand gives JMC two very strong brand names in the electrical fittings business as well as access to new customers and a new distribution base.

JMC will continue to market and sell electrical fittings under both the Wheatland and Picoma brand names. Electrical fittings for both brands will be produced at the Cambridge, Ohio facility.

With this acquisition, JMC will become an even stronger player in the U.S. electrical fittings business. This acquisition represents an outstanding growth opportunity for JMC.

In connection with the purchase of Picoma, JMC sold the assets of Seminole Tubular Products, its plumbing fittings business to Anvil.
