Alcan Cable Sponsors Electrical Products Industry Anti-Counterfeit Initiative
An Electrical Products Industry Anti-Counterfeit Initiative, jointly sponsored by ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR and TED Magazine and endorsed by NAED, NECA and NEMA, was introduced at the NECA conference in early October. As a Gold level sponsor of this industry initiative, Alcan Cable is promoting market awareness of the liability and safety problems associated with using counterfeit electrical cable products. An Anti-Counterfeit Panel presentation took place at the NECA Show to communicate the serious consequences of counterfeiting and to announce the creation of the Anti-Counterfeit Micro-Site scheduled to go live in December.
Alcan Cable participated in the NECA Tradeshow held in Chicago on October 5 – 7. Promoting the message of “Connections That Generate Value”, Alcan showcased its STABILOY® aluminum building wire and MODEX™ Modular Wiring Systems and how these products increase productivity and deliver rapid cycle construction for electrical contractors.
