Compact Thermal Pole Camera for Vault and Conduit Inspection

Inspecting high-energy components in vaults and conduits can be time consuming and present difficult access and safety challenges. Zistos manufactures a unique 14' pole-mounted thermal camera for safely accessing confined or other difficult to reach areas. These pole camera systems facilitate preventative maintenance inspection (search for hot spots), triage of failure events, and visual assessment of difficult to access areas where space, or possible danger are a factor.
The compact thermal camera head contains two technologies: a thermal imager and a self-illuminated B&W video camera. The operator can remotely articulate the pole and switch between the two camera modes. A rugged, tripod-mounted display is separate from the camera and pole for viewing at a safe distance. Cameras, poles and the display are weather proof and all come packaged in a foam-fitted hard case. Additional components and camera technologies can be added at any time, as needed.
