States Electric Changes Name
MINNEAPOLIS, MN - States Electric Manufacturing Co. has changed its name to States Manufacturing Corporation to better reflect the depth and breadth of the company’s services. Ownership, management, and the company’s top-notch workforce remain constant, as does its focus—designing, engineering and manufacturing custom electrical and precision fabricated metal solutions. The name change took effect February 26, 2010.
“This is an exciting time for States Manufacturing—a new logo and website, new production equipment, better communication tools and a focus on growing our business by being the go-to supplier for custom solutions. We are optimistic that these changes will only enhance the customer orientation that has become the hallmark of our organization over the last 86 years,” said Stuart Rubin, President and Chief Executive Officer.
To better serve customers and coordinate with vendors, States Manufacturing has reorganized the company so that their capabilities are more clearly defined. While these changes are significant, customer service, engineering expertise, quality, value and, most importantly, integrity will continue to remain at the core of the organization.
The new structure includes four divisions: Electrical Solutions, Precision Metal Fabrication, Equipment Shelters and Painting Services. The Electrical Solutions Division has two product groups: Power Distribution & Control Systems and Panelboards & Industrial Control Cabinets.
